Through Darkness To Dawn

This is the autobiography of Dr. John Geller during the period of the Second World War - alum of the Cracow medical school, dedicated doctor, and Jew. We begin with his escape from Cracow, and the advancing Nazi invasion, into Russian occupied Poland - subsequently being forced into the Russian prison system in Poland and beyond, before joining the Polish Army as a doctor for the rest of the war. An eye-opening account of one man escaping the Holocaust, and fighting for liberation, truly a history that all should read. The book itself is in great condition, only affected by some minor shelf-wear. Internally it is clean and clear and waiting to be read.
