It is an enjoyable and interesting chronicle of Dumas's experiences travelling around Switzerland in the mid nineteenth century, and will appeal to lovers of travel writing and collectors of Dumas's marvellous work. It was in 1832 that Dumas first journeyed abroad, to Switzerland - and from this point on, he fell in love with this captivating country. Alexandre Dumas (1802-1870) was a famous French writer. He is best remembered for his exciting romantic sagas, including "The Three Musketeers" and "The Count of Monte Cristo". Excellent pages for its age, some edge and jacket wear + price clipped and small inscription to fly-leaf.
