Application-specific blow-off valves are supplied as direct bolt-on kits with all the necessary fittings included.Constructed from a strong lightweight billet aluminium body and precision tolerance matched 38mm piston. Using such a precise piston to body fit eliminates the need for O-ring piston seals, a common failure point in other designs, giving improved responsiveness and a longer service life.Available as universal, turbo specific and vehicle-specific bolt-on (Shortie - flanged 2 or 3 bolt fitting) options, in either a Dual-Port, Plumb-Back or Supersonic configuration, depending on the application type.Dual-Port: The Dual-Port valve is designed to give a 50/50 split, so it part recirculates the charge-air into the intake and part vents into the atmosphere. This gives a noticeable turbo whoosh at high boost levels but is quieter at lower levels. The included blanking plate allows configurations of 100% atmospheric or recirculation for the best of both worlds. Plumb-Back: The Plumb-Back valve is a fully recirculating valve that offers a quiet alternative to the atmospheric valves. The blow-off valve system vents all excess pressure back into the intake system and is ideal for cars with sensitive air flow systems and off-road applications as the fully-sealed design of the Plumb-Back valve prevents any foreign matter from entering the system.Supersonic: The Supersonic is a 100% vent to atmosphere configuration suitable for racers and serious enthusiasts who want to be noticed. This blow-off valve provides a superior flow performance with a unique 'supersonic' soundThe clever modular design, precision machining and assembly allow you easily take apart, maintain or modify your BOV5. Interchangeable parts and fittings for the BOV5 range mean you can quickly and easily convert a Dual-Port to a Plumb-Back or Supersonic and back again, should your application needs change.For some specific applications, Turbosmart offers BOV5 kits that include multiple valves, hoses and fittings to make upgrades as easy as possible*.*Please Note -Kit contents will vary depending on vehicle application.
