Very popular chess set. Superb value for money. Weighted and felted. 3.75 inch (95 mm) king. Ideal on a 20 inch (50 cm) board. The Victoria Series Ebonised Boxwood and Boxwood Chessmen seem to fly out from the Regency Chess headquarters at Christmas - more so than any other pieces. We make no secret here at Regency Chess that the Victoria chessmen are one of our best value products. The detailing really is superb and each piece is nicely weighted with green flocked bases. At 3.75 inches (95 mm) the king is a good size, while all of the black pieces are subjected to an ebonising process that makes them look exactly like real ebony. They make a perfect match for any of our 20 inch (50 cm) ebony or rosewood playing boards.
