Vintage 1960s Petri Flex V Slr Camera For Parts Only from Kuribayashi/Petri

Petri Flex V SLR 35mm camera. Depending upon exactly how old this individual camera is (from 1961 onwards) it was manufactured by Kuribayashi , which changed its name to Petri in 1962. This camera is completely manual as it has no built in light metering. The lens attached is a Petri 55mm f/2.0. The camera does not come with a case or lanyard. This camera is broken, as the shutter does not shut, and is best suited for parts only. Specifications: Film Type: 135 (35mm) Lens Mount: Petri Breech Lock Mount with Petri -> M42 adapter Focus: Fixed SLR Prism Shutter: Focal Plane Cloth Speeds: B, 1/2 - 1/500 seconds Exposure Meter: none (external clip-on meter was an option) Battery: none Flash Mount: PC M and X Flash Sync Approx. Dimensions: 13.4cm W., 10.4cm from back to the front incl. lens. Condition: There is wear of black colour around the outside edges of the top and bottom of the camera and wear of black around the metal of the viewfinder, and on the lever on the top by the dial. The 'pyramid' like shape in front of the hot shoe has wear of black on the top and along one side. A small part of the textured plastic (?) to one side of the hot show is peeling off. A little loss of black on the metal around where it says 'Petri FLEX' above the lens. On the whole, and considering age, other wear is minor. There are no apparent scratches on the lens glass, or on the viewfinder, although the latter is 'fogged up'. There are a few areas of dust build up. Please note, as said this camera is broken as shutter does not close.
