Vintage rabbit soft toy, manufacturer and date unknown, could be late 1940s. It wears a deep purple tailcoat stitched over a pale green garment, stitched on bright red felt breeches, and a white bow tie over a white felt cravat. The nose and mouth are stitched on, and the eyes feel plastic and have a black pupil in an amber coloured iris. Approx. Dimension: 29cm H. Condition: The limbs and tail are secure, as is one ear, a few mm on the other ear is separating from the head but it still feels reasonably secure. There is quite a lot of hair loss on the feet, hands, tail, and on the face, back of the head, and the sides and back of the ears. As a very approx. estimate, hair loss is about 50% overall; as it is spread over the rabbit it doesn't give an impression of being too bad at a cursory glance. The raiment is on the whole in good condition, reasonably bright, and the stitching remains tight . There is as very small patch of felt missing on the front of one trouser leg, and a small slit on the other. There is a couple of minor dark marks on the inner trouser legs. The green undergarment is a little worn through on the back. The coat has some incongruous light blue untidy stitching on the back, which may be original. There is a very minor patch of loss on the front of the coat. The coat stitching under one arm is a little loose, and there is a free thread end. The coat is discoloured in areas on the front, and has a few very small subtle marks on the back and one on the front. The cravat is discoloured, and the bow tie is a little on the front.
