The Revolt 104 comes from from the combined brilliance of their head engineer and the freestyle pro team. The final result is after hours, days and weeks of co-operation, testing, feedback and changes: a freestyle ski for everyday use whether jibbing or in the backcountry. Tip and tail rocker ensure great handling in any terrain; the 3D Radius Sidecut boosts stability in any condition. The Multi Layer Woodcore is the heart, providing the right flex and power; full sidewalls deliver the precision. To quote Paddy Graham simply a whole lot of fun, no matter where it is used . Terrain Type & Ability Level Terrain Type Park, general jibbing, backcountry, pistes, freeriding, the 104 will do it all. This is the new breed of freestyle ski, capable anywhere and not bothered by category definitions. Skier Type Advanced and expert skiers wanting a freestyle ski to ride anywhere. In reality, ability is less of factor, it s more about mindset and wanting the looser feel of a freestyle ski to use everyday on the slopes, in the park or backcountry. Overview Shape 104mm underfoot is the all condition freestyle sweetspot, big enough to float and feel stable, not so wide it becomes heavy and cumbersome. The long nose and tail create gradual transitions to the contact points and combine with the tip and tail rocker to make it easier to manoeuvre as wells as improving the handling in any kind of snow. Rocker Tip and Tail Rocker uses camber underfoot with rocker at tip and tail. The camber provides the grip and the pop for jumping, the rocker aids turn initiation and release as well as butters and presses. Core The Multi Layer Woodcore uses a combination of beech and poplar, resulting in a poppy and extremely durable core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood around. Construction Full sidewall produces direct and strong power transmission for the best control. The Mini Cap improves durability and resists potential damage to the topsheet. Key Features 3D Radius Sidecut The 3D Radius Sidecut ensures a range of turn size feel natural. A long radius on the tip and tail is combined with a tighter radius in the centre. The longer radii aid bigger turns and higher speeds with easy steering, less tip disruption and smoother turn exits. The shorter radius in the centre makes it easier to execute short turns and improves agility. EB tester's comments: Luke (Buying Team) Designed for all-mountain freestyle, it actually makes a great powder ski. Easier to turn than 121 version, it still provides plenty of float; on piste they felt surprisingly agile for a +100mm ski. The increased length ensures better grip, stability and floatation and is essential to making the ski work to its full potential. Large rockers at the tip mean it is important not to size down.

Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.

After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.

Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
