A lovely plate from W. J. George titled "The Violet - Crowned Hummingbird" the third issue in 'Lena Liu's Hummingbird Treasury' collection made from Lena Liu's original silk painted artwork. The plate features a violet-crowned hummingbird passing some bright blue flowers. The surrounding border includes gold gilding alongside a lot of greenery and flowers as well as different hummingbird varieties from the rest of the collection. The violet-crown hummingbird can be found in Mexico and the Southern United States. The plate is edition number 5106 B. W. J. George is the manufacturer. The plate was made in 1992. The plate is marked for decorative purposes only and not for food use. The plate was limited to 150 firing days. The plate has no chips or cracks. The plate has an adhesive display hook attached to the back as shown in the photos. Measurements Height 2 cm. Width 20 cm.
