Waaier van Asse by Eric Derluyn - Signed Text in Dutch. Eric Derluyn (Roeselare, November 17, 1943) is a Flemish writer. After receiving primary education at the 'Spanjeschool' in Roeselare, he completed the humanities at the Klein Seminarie. He subsequently obtained a degree in Germanic philology (1962-1966) at the Catholic University of Leuven. He started his professional life as a scientific researcher at the National Fund for Scientific Research (1967-1972), working on a doctoral dissertation on Guido Gezelle and England, and as a Dutch teacher (1972-1976) at the University of Lille. From 1976 he established himself as a poet, writer, painter and sculptor, without a permanent position. The edges show some signs of wear but the cover and the spine show no damage and are in tact. Otherwise in very good condition.
