Which Dog Clipper To Use Not all dog coat types are suitable for clipping, in particular double coated breeds including, but not limited to, Labrador, Husky, Chow Chow, Malamute, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd and Pomeranian. Clipping may result in irregular patches of alopecia and a condition known as 'coat funk'.
