War instruction booklet 1917, for the steamer SS Ekasomi. Launched 1896 as Noord Europa, renamed Ekasomi in 1915, sold 1923 Gustav Salling, 1926 Karl Leonhardt, 1927 Eric Larson, in 1938 she was sold to Egon Oldendorff and named Dora Oldendorff. During WW2 she worked in the Baltic and Norwegian areas, and in 1945 she was allocated to Great Britain. In 1947 she was scuttled in the Bay of Biscay with ammunition aboard. Oldenborf Carriers a large German bulk carrier company celebrating their 100th anniversary in 2001, Dora Oldendorff was one of their earliest ships. The book has lead covers (So that it would sink), includes the 1918 addendum. Some leaves are loose.
