What Must I Do To Get Well? And How Can I Keep So?

This is an 'exposition of the Salisbury treatment', proposed by a Dr Salisbury who had published a 'masterly' work called 'The Relation of Alimentation and Disease'. The author is 'One who has done it'. It seems to be very pro meat. It has some interesting quotations: 'Diseases enter at the mouth', is one proverb, from Japan. There is one description of one day's diet prescribed for a patient which has a running commentary on how poor the writer thinks the diet was; one might have some sympathy when one reads it included 7 eggs! (The patient died.) Some 30 pages of advertising at the back. Royal, blue cloth covers, somewhat worn on corners and spine, with gilt lettering and decorative steaming kettle, all a little soiled; binding sound; brown end papers, with an owner's name in faded black ink opposite the title page; page edges rather soiled by now; minor foxing at either end of the book but the pages of text appear clean.
