Book itself has orange cloth covers with titles and illustrations of aborigines in black on front and spine A wonderfully interesting book about living on a huge cattle ranch in the Australian Channel Country outback in the early 20th century, particularly so as the author Alice Duncan-Kemp (1901-1988) was accepted into the life and customs of the native aboriginal tribe, and fluently tells of their lives and beliefs and the extraordinary landscape in which they all lived.
