Wild Flowers by Anne Pratt - 2 volume set. This work is an informative catalogue of the common wild flowers found in England. WIth a beautiful illustration of each flower, Anne Pratt offers information on the habitats and characteristics of the wild flowers. With ninety-six pages of plates, each with two floral colour illustrations to a page. Anne Pratt was a popular botanical illustrator in Victorian England. She wrote many books on botanics. In fair condition with clear pages and colour illustrations although the frontispiece is missing from volume 1. The hardcovers are green leather marbled. The cover of volume 1 is in fair condition although the back board has become detached from the spine. The cover of volume 2 is also in fair condition but this volume is lacking the spine.
