Door Entry Intercom - 100m Range - IP44 Outdoor Rated How to use? The outdoor unit of this kit can be installed at any door. The indoor unit (phone) is then placed indoors wherever it is most convenient (can be wall mounted - supplied with bracket). Visitors then may press the button on the outdoor unit, which rings the indoor unit like any normal phone. Once picked up, the two units act as an intercom, allowing visitors to be spoken to from the phone, via the outdoor unitAC/a,!a,,C/s speaker and microphone. The indoor unit works with the supplied power adapter and powers the outdoor unit too. There is also a key button on the indoor unit (as seen on the picture) which can be wired into almost any door entry system. Usually 2 core speaker cable (0.75mmA,A2 area recommended) would be used for the intercom function, if you need help selecting this cable, please give us a call.
