Promotion: Mahogany body and spruce top The FG-TA is constructed for sonic excellence from the offset. Versatile in nature this acoustic excellence is achieved through the combination of a mahogany body and a sparkling spruce top. The mahogany base delivers a breadth of warmth with tight lows a defined mid-range and a whole lot of resonance to add a new level of complexity pleasing for a wide variety of musical styles. The solid spruce top raises the sonic scape with strong tones and a focused presence to really draw out every subtle articulation of the guitars noise. Preamp and pickup The Yamaha FG-TA TransAcoustic comes equipped with Yamaha’s System 70 preamp providing the ability to plug the guitar into a PA system or amplifier while also amplifying the natural sound of the guitar itself. A Piezo pickup transmits every vibration the strings articulate directly to the actuator then emits it from the body of the guitar creating an authentic reverb and chorus inside the body of the instrument. A set of three controls allow you to adjust the chorus reverb and level at any moment during your performance. Pristine playability Constructed from nato the neck of this acoustic offers similar properties to that of mahogany responding impeccably to a wide variety of techniques enabling players to include influences from a wide variety of playing styles and fully utilise the capabilities of the instruments sound.
