Customer care at its worst

Note that this review is more than 6 months old and the company's procedures may have changed considerably since this review was written.
My daughter bought a coat for �90 from Jane Norman, within a few weeks the seam came away, i took it back, they said it would have go off to be examined, they returned it and said it was not a manufacturing fault, they had no others back like it and could not do anything. I have never in my life heard of such appalling customer care from a high street chain. We are in the process of writing to them with advice from consumer direct. My daughter or her friends will never shop there again.
