A plain & simple Blue Lace Agate gemstone cabochon pendant, suitable for all ocassions. Blue lace Agate is rare & found only in Namibia & South Africa. Most other agates are found commonly all over the world. Blue lace agate is a silicate mineral & known for being a stone of personal encouragement & support. The colours range from a pale grey to quite vibrant pale blues. The example in this pendant has the typical striped markings, with a beautiful clean shades of light blue & lilac. The one in the photograph is the one you will receive. DIMENSIONS The sterling silver bezel housing the cabochon is oval & including the bail at the top, measures approx 3.1cm (1 & 1/4 inch) in height x 1.9cm (3/4 inch) at its widest point. The bezel has a milled edge & is hallmarked .925 sterling silver on the back. The blue lace agate cabochon is oval, domed & polished. It measures 2.5cm (1 inch) x 1.8cm (5/8 inch) wide. The chain is a .925 sterling silver, hallmarked cable chain & fastens with a traditional bolt ring clasp. The chain is 18 inches long (45 cm) & approximately 1mm (1/32 inch) wide.
