Glad to see this traditional Liverpool institution still open and trading as there are not many traditional public houses left in Liverpool these days. Haven't been here in some time but I bumped into the chef Dave Lee here who I recognized from 10 years ago when I worked in an office in Liverpool. He informed me that he has been there 17year and the pub favourites such as traditional Scouse, steak and ale pie and homemade soup of the day were still available on the menu. I had the Scouse served with red cabbage and crusty bread and butter which was delicious washed down with a pint of Isle of Man Okells bitter. Really good!
