Disappointing Batter

Note that this review is more than 6 months old and the company's procedures may have changed considerably since this review was written.
Ordered Cod Roe & Chips at lunchtime. The Roe was cooked fresh, but the batter was not crisp and golden on top, on the inside it was pale and floppy. The Chips were hard and rubbery. Would never go here again, and waste my money.
