Bertram Thomas Smith, began Smith's in the 1930's, starting out with two small greenhouses, an old coal boiler to keep plants warm at night and ten acres of land for wallflowers and roses. Over eight decades later Smith's Nurseries has grown into a successful gardening business both offline and online.

The range includes Garden Furniture, Barbecues, Sheds, Log Cabins, Planters and Grow Your Own Plants, Arbours and Arches, Garden Storage, Paving, Decking Kits, Aggregates and Outdoor Fireplaces. They offer all the best gardening brands including Weber, Alexander Rose, Leisuregrow, Forest, Kelkay and many more.
