Alpha Rooms - Real concern about my booking

Note that this review is more than 6 months old and the company's procedures may have changed considerably since this review was written.
I made a booking in late February but did not receive voucher although money taken from my account the next day. Sent numerous emails with no response other than standard automated reply. Had to ring premium telephone number - on hold for ages. Eventually wrote to MD and received voucher by email. Hotel says it does not have a booking in my name and I am now back in the loop of emails, telephone calls and another letter to MD. This time no response. Where to next?
