Budget shop. The outdoor arm of Sports Direct with a lot of overlap in content. Some of the stuff is good, but the Karrimor and Gellert range is decidedly bottom end and probably worth avoiding compared to say, Regatta or Trespass.

Surprised that there is no previous review as this is possibly the best shop here for footware and clothing at great prices.

Staff in a Feild and Trek store run under Sports Direct, I have to say that the staff are completly miserable as they are on 0 hour contracts, given no training on products and are paid the bare minimum. No wonder they are miserable, the shops are tiny and crampped as Sports Direct send to much stock and dont provide enough space for it. This Feild and Trek is 1 of 10 left in the country and as a result they are swept under the rug as the Real money is in the Shed stores of Sports Direct. Low pay, no training and 0 hours no wonder they are miserable

Wonderful cosy store and lovely friendly people! Two members of staff were very attentive, friendly and jokey. Made sure I left with exactly what i needed, along with some good banter! Keep up the good work!

Mark and the other boys in the shop went to great lengths to ensure I left the shop satisfied - good effort all round. Generally cheaper than the rest of the outdoors shops around there too!

The poor reviews for this store are thoroughly deserved. The bald man was extremely rude! If he is going to be a sales assistant he should try to learn some customer service skills. Will never use Field and Trek again because of this experience.

the shop is small and cramped but it is not a problem. the problem is staff. rude and unattentive. i think they hate it there so much they take it out on customers. the bald man working there must hate his life. equipment they sell there is cheap and sometimes you can find something worth buying but it's depressing, do yourself a favour and avoid this place. cheer up bald man!
