My order was in stock when placed and should have been dispatched within 5-7 working days. Nearly 4 weeks later I still had no goods and it is impossibe to get in contact by telephone with the company, you can only email. Emails are only answered after a couple of days and in the reply they still could not update on delivery saying they were waiting on an update from their supplier. I then request

Ordered and confirmed 22nd Nov, 1st text from XDP on 2nd Dec saying they have the rug, next received text on 6th from XDP saying rug will be delivered between 3.49 and 5.49 - never turned up. I called customer service who guaranteed it would be with me by the 9th - another text from XDP saying will be delivered between 3.49 - 5.49 that day, never turned up - same text on the 12th and again the mor

Stil waiting 3 weeks later for what was meant to be 5-7day turn around for a rug that was in stock. Phone calls go to a voicemail box that’s full so I can’t even leave a message

Ordered 2 rugs over three weeks ago on the basis that they were in stock and delivery was clearly specified on their website as 5-7 days. Only after placing order was there any suggestion that it might be delayed. On chasing, I have received continued untruths about the status of my order. Can’t get through on the phone and been given various dates (via email) for delivery which have been missed.

As I haven’t yet received my rug yet I cannot comment but what I can say is that The Rug Shop answered my email very quickly and used their names which I personally liked.
