Just walked through door and female assistant asked if I was ok? I walked to the machine I wanted to print from and this woman followed me, asking what sort of phone I had. It is a camera, not a phone. She then told me I could not use the machine I selected as there was a job running on it. I was escorted to an old Kodak machine in the middle of the shop.

I had two lots of prints to do. Barely had the receipt came from the machine, when the assistant quoted what my order was. I told her I had another order to do...

After the second order receipt came out, she pounced again. This time I paid. I had a further order to do, but felt like I was being pushed on.

I was trying to put my photos in order, when the female assistant leant across me and inserted a camera card into the machine I was still standing at.

I gathered my photos and left the store.

The service, in my opinion, was rude and unhelpful. I will not use the Skegness Store again, even if it means paying more for my photos elsewhere.

I wish I had looked at the reviews before purchasing a GROUPON order via these people - and not just one, two seperate orders, one for me, one for my mum. As we live next door, i tried to organise one delivery, amalgamating the order. It seems this was far too complex a procedure for this company's web-order facility to compute.

Of course, there are NO means of contacting these people either - having spent over an hour in total on three separate occasions on the phone being told I was 'first in the queue', I eventually got cut off. There is no e-mail address, and no other means of contact aside from driving down to the address stated on the website, which I suspect may not even exist.

They may offer discount rates, but for an extremely poor service. Telephones should be manned efficiently if you are trying to operate a nationwide business, and the lack of an e-mail address as a contact on a web-based business is absurd.

If and when my planters arrive, I shall write a further update. What a farce.

We wanted a quality glasshouse in which we could include a partition to have part greenhouse and part conservatory. Looking at three vendors - two national and one local, Hartley Botanic came out top in terms of look and value for money. We visited two reference installations in our area and the materials used - glass, metalwork and even the gaskets used to install the glass were first class. The final stamp of approval was from the people whose Hartley glasshouses we visited who praised both the sales team and their installation teams.

We went ahead with our order. The sales process was very smooth with Hartley suggesting we hold off from ordering a complete set of blinds from them as we may not need them all.

Even though we had to move the installation date three times due to a combination of bad weather delaying the site preparation and our builder putting the entrance in the retaining base wall in the wrong place (thank heaven I did a final check against the drawings Hartley Botanic provided!) Hartley could not have been more helpful. To help us get back on track they had two installation teams assemble the glasshouse in double quick time and all the guys could not have been more helpful and professional and tidied up so well that we had friends around the same evening to christen the conservatory section and to toast the health of the whole Hartley Botanic team.

Alpha-Rooms are the worst online travel booking agency I have come across for customer satisfaction, honesty and reliability.

The holiday group consisted of myself, sister and 82 year old mother, criteria being an apartment including half board, sea views (balcony/terrace), close to beach and a reasonably quiet location fairly near the main town plus parking. We carefully choose the Hotel Uyal at Puerto Pollensa in Majorca as seemingly to fit. More expensive than the rest, we were happy it filled our tick boxes. We booked on 29th June with confirmation & voucher to follow on 30th June via email. It was therefore concurrently quite shocking and fortunate that on the eve of departure my sister came across an email (sent 4 days before our departure) from Alpha Rooms who requested urgent action as the Hotel Uyal was over subscribed. Ok, there were 2 local alternatives offered but we were nonetheless devastated.

The alternatives were not what we wanted; a hotel room with 3 beds was all that was on offer. After making frantic calls on the eve of our departure, Alpha Rooms claimed rather cheekily that no extra charges would be made for the alternate location and that he couldnt assure us of getting what we originally wanted. I was very unhappy paying the higher cost for the original booking and then being accommodated in a standard room with no reduction in price. However, they could a place a fridge in the room as a gesture for the inconvenience! The operator could not confirm or elaborate on my questions and for more details from his suppliers and I felt I was being palmed off at the last minute. He nonchalantly stated this is the risk one takes and the company was obliged for find alternatives only.

A desperate search began by me at 4.00 pm the day before departure. Being very upset by this shenanigan I was looking at the Alpha Rooms website and, oddly enough, I located the nearby Bellamar Apartments, which were a lot cheaper and a lot more promising than a 3 bed room hotel room. I was refusing to pay top prices for someone's mistake and choice which may or may not meet my expectations. I was very surprised the agent did not even present this as an option since I made it clear that an apartment was my requirement. I then insisted that this is what I wanted as there was availability according to the website for a lower cost, in fact 400 cheaper. As it turned out I was provided with the less modern apartments next door, Hotel Pollensa Park Apartments, despite it not having a lift for my pensioner mother and she having to struggle with making the climb to the second floor in the heat, everything else worked out well. The main Hotel facilities we had access to were excellent. I had my 2 rooms, catering facilities and wonderful sea view with balcony we all longed for. Despite this, we had to travel to Hotel Pollensa Park without an email confirmation from AlphaRooms which made for a very anxious trip out not knowing if this Hotel had been informed of our arrival.

No thanks to Alpha, what was a carefully planned adventure quickly went sour with a take it or leave it attitude. They have lost our future custom and I would certainly not recommend them or any of their services. I am surprised that a follow up call didnt happen when no response to the email about the oversubscription wasnt responded to. This should be part of a reputable companys procedure. This left me an hour to turn a huge disappoint into the holiday we were could all enjoy.
