Criterium Cycles was established in Edinburgh in 2013 by brothers Paul and Richard Bowker. From the outset the vision of Criterium Cycles has been to deliver outstanding customer service and be the best bike shop in Edinburgh, if not one of the best bike shops in the UK. After 3 years, we are delighted to be able to say that Criterium Cycles has been voted one of the Top 20 independent bike shops in the UK by BikeBiz magazine in each of 2014, 2015,2016 and 2017.

Founder Abigail Ahern is recognised amongst design aficionados, press and clients alike for her enchanting take on interiors. Her trendsetting designs have become synonymous with glamour, eclecticism and wit. In 2015, James Parker identified a gap in the market for fitted, smarter streetwear. This was the seed that led to the formation of Gym King – the lifestyle brand that formalised the street athleisure movement. Now available across the globe in over 500 retailers, Gym King has emerged as more than product: it is a family that shares the belief that destiny is not determined by birthright.
